Returns without a receipt

Lawnmowers, chainsaws and generators, pressure washers, trimmers and blowers, snow blowers and log splitters, wood splitters, wood chippers, edgers, mowers, drills and brush cutters must be returned within 30 calendar days of receipt of the product.

48-Hour Return Policy

  • Returns must be made within 48 hours of delivery or collection from a Lowe’s shop.
  • Major appliances: refrigerators, freezers and washing machines, dryers, and cookers. Extractor bonnets. Cooktops. Wall ovens. Washer and dryer pedestals.
  • Exemptions: Appliances must be returned in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase.

Holiday Items

All holiday items must be returned within the time limit (e.g. Christmas). Returns will only be accepted for items purchased after the holidays.

Return Fee For Special Orders Of Configured Products

A 20% restocking fee will be charged for special orders returned or cancelled within 72 hours of purchase.

Please return the product to the location where it was purchased. In some states, the restocking fee may be subject to tax. This fee applies to all sales unless you have another installation contract or a right of rescission.

Hazardous Materials Or Products Containing Lithium Batteries.

Items containing flammable liquids, gases or other hazardous materials cannot be returned by mail for safety reasons.

Plants

For all trees, shrubs or perennials purchased at Lowe’s, a receipt must be submitted within one year of purchase to receive a replacement or refund. All other plants are subject to our 90-day return policy.
